Family Medicine – Health Care in the Rogue Valley

Our family medicine care team provides comprehensive care for the whole family, from children and teenagers to adults and the elderly. Our physicians and providers practice patient-centered care. This means we believe that good health care comes from creating long-term relationships with patients, supporting them through excellent communication, education and prevention practices. We believe patients are their own best advocates and we work to empower patients to become our partners in their own care.

Our services include:

Also called well-care visits or checkups, wellness exams, or annual physicals, these regular medical examinations should start when a child is a few days old and continue until through adulthood.

Annual well-exams are an important part of every person’s health care program. Not only do they provide an opportunity for our health care team to screen for medical and developmental issues, these visits provide a great opportunity for preventive education. We encourage patients to bring questions. This is a time to gather information both for the providers and the patients we serve.

From infants to senior citizens, timely immunizations are one of the most important ways for you to protect yourself and others from serious diseases and infections.  Please refer to our immunization schedule for details.

Asthma is treated with two types of medicines: long-term control and quick-relief medicines. Long-term control medicines help reduce airway inflammation and prevent asthma symptoms. Quick-relief, or “rescue,” medicines relieve asthma symptoms that may flare up. Our care team works with asthma patients so they have the education and tools needed to help understand what triggers their attacks and how to help reduce them.
