Sharon Scelza, MSN, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Sharon Scelza is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. After her bachelor’s degree in Biology, she spent her twenties volunteering and traveling nationally and internationally for various governmental and non-profit organizations doing environmental education and plant/ wildlife surveys. Her affinity for plants and different cultures culminated in a master’s degree in Ethnobotany in 2003.
Sharon moved to the Rogue Valley in 2007. Her desire to become involved in a community and gain a skill that can help people, propelled her to OHSU in Portland where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing. After six years at a community health center working as a case manager and manager of volunteer specialty clinics, she went to Gonzaga University for her FNP.
Her diverse experience solidified her commitment to providing patient-centered care. She feels honored to be a part in your health care.
When not in the clinic, Sharon loves being outdoors and adventuring with her husband and three young daughters.
